if you bend it back, it's just going to be weaker and likely to snap. if you do that, you are taking your own life in your hands.

the best thing to do with a one-piece crank is to throw it away. i know you don't have a lot of money, but any three-piece crank has got to be stronger than even the "strongest" one-piece crank. they are just total rubbish. i was plagued with bent one-piecers for many years until i finally saved up some money and bought some three-piecers and never looked back.

look for some lightly-used cranks on ebay of in the bmx-f classified section to get some cheap ones. you will also need some new pedals with 9/16" spindles for your three-piece cranks because one-piece cranks only work wiht 1/2" spindles. trust me, this is one upgrade that is 0% hype and 100% worth it. save you money, mow some lawns, pawn some junk, do whatever it takes.

the 1pc was only better than the 3pc in the '80s. back then, 3pcs were heavy, weak, and the spindles stripped easily. now that we've improved on it, 3pcs are the only way to go. get one on Craigslist. you can actually get some that run on 1pc BBs. the other option is Danscomp. 10 bucks plus s/h gets you the best 1pc out there. not as good as a 3, but still better than a bent 1.
