hey guys, i used to race here and there in high school about 5 years ago, i had a haro sx comp xl and i loved it, but i forgot to lock it up one day at my apartment in college and it got stolen. i am interested in getting back into it because i found track that is near by. i was browsing through craigslist and i found a redline that i really liked but i never got a response, i also found this 1998 mosh pro xl for 100$. it is in great shape he says it has upgraded seats and tires but idk anything about them. but i was wondering is this a good deal? i am really short on cash right now so thats right in my price range. i would probably put some new handlebars on it maybe a few other things? i was just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the bike because i cant find anything on google really. thanks heres a spec page http://www.bikepedia.com/QuickBike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=1998&Brand=Giant&Model=Mosh+Pro+XL&Type=bike

You've never heard of Mosh?
It should be an alright bike for $100.

i also found a diamond back team viper? but nothing much comes up on google with that either. i wish people would get there models straight before putting them up, they say that one is also race ready and is asking 125? says its a mid 90's http://charlotte.craigslist.org/bik/1327748073.html i plan on looking at a couple in 1 day since its about a 2 hour drive figured if i didnt come home with one no biggie i can keep looking. i dont want to rush into it and buy one and it not be something i like

If you liked the PRO XL type and size before, you should probably go that way again. Try to get back on the track a cheaply as possible, because once you start riding again you will propbaly upgrade your parts or bike after a while.
