Once you get them on use nail polish clear coat

Like lift tghe grips up a bit and put some on the bars and this will keep em stuck on good make sure you can either slide them on if your putting the clear coat on before the grips are on or just put it on under the grips after the grips are actually on

wd40. don't use too much but use enough to get them to slide on. Let it dry, then you're good to go.

i have heard of lighter fluid too. could try that.

Let the water dry?

Hairspray, spit, air compressor, cover one hole and blow the grip in

Are you trying to slide the grips on your bars?

Or are you trying to get your grips to stay on and not slip?

I've used everything from spit to spray lube and starter fluid to slide grips on. I haven't had a problem with grips moving around since by the time they start slipping there worn out and need to get tossed anyway.

I use dish soap. Put it on the bars and inside the grips. They stay forever (well at least for me).

clear your bars and grips, let dry, and use a air compresser...best way, and you can go riding instantly

Use deodrant (Y) it evaporates after a while therefore the grips stop to slide around

i used to use hair spray but it didnt dry quick enough so i started to use clearcoat(spraypaint) and it works extremely well

If you have some time just use rubbing alcohol. It is the ingredient that makes the spray deodorants a good choice as well.

Compressed air, zip ties. Hairspary, WD-40 etc. works fine on some finishes/grip combos, and not so fine on others.

this is wd-40s one purpose on a bike, to get em off slip a screwdriver or something under then spay wd-40 into it an work it around, should slide off like nothing. putting on spray them, then slide them on quick, should not move at all within a couple minutes. wd-40s whole lube to glue thing is perfect for grips

I use denaturated alcohol. U can get it at any hardware store. It drys fast and leave no residue. It probably comparable to brake cleaner. I just put on a set of grips and tried to throttle them about a minute later. feels like i glued them on.

Defo hairspray, is applied as a lubricant, dries as an adhesive, and usually everyone has it :D
