I have had this tire as a front tire for a year now.. Yes. A year. They work nice and there really grippy for the money. I have learned alot of tricks on riding this as a front tire and would recommend it to any beginner or to anyone as a good spare tire to have lying around.
There really strong and have thick walls to protect your tube from pinch flats and sharp objects.
Although the psi is only 65 max these are a must have for anyone as a backup tire.
I have had only 1 flat with using this tire and thats completely my fault for not checking for nails on a piece of wood.
After a year it still has alot of tread and alot of life.
I would get this tire again after its out of life.. It works great as a front tire but I wouldnt recommend it to as a rear tire for a brakeless rider
I saw 7/10.
Its pretty cheap can range from $5-$10
# Checkerboard-shaped knob design
# Knurled tread surface for traction and control
# Ribbing between knobs strengthens the casing

i agree, these would rock for a front tire. i rolled on one of these for a rear tire, but it didnt last more then 3 weeks.

i strongly disagree with what you said about the sidewalls being thick. they arent, i had a K rad on the rear and i got pinch flats from just rolling, no hackish or unsmooth riding style either so i got a ringworm and im super pleased.

agree pinch flats with a lot of air pression. Flats withouth pinching. It sucks, it's weak. I pumped it to 75% max pression and it blowed away.
I hate those tyres.
but they are quite light (thin walls)
those tires came stock on my jane and they suck the sidewalls are crap i have had about 10 pinchflats i hate this tire

They are cheap. You can get them for like $5 so can't argue.
They come on a lot of the Eastern Bikes.
Currently I am riding a Odyssey Elm Street front and Maxxis Hookworm rear.
