over30 group?

Looking to get back into bmx racing, and i'm wondering--

--if theirs an active over 30 group racing at the tracks (do they categorize groups/divisions by age?)

--should i go for a standard 20' bike or a 24' and race in that division.. (i'm 6'1 and have been thinking of the larger 24' but not familiar with that division/racing..)

Youd have more competition on a cruiser at that age, but there are classes for you in both 20 and 24" categories.

28 and over novice.............26-30 cruiser
28 and over intermediate...31-35 cruiser
28 and over expert............36-40 cruiser
..........................................41-45 cruiser
..........................................46-50 cruiser
..........................................51 and over cruiser

At nationals ONLY they add a 56 and over cruiser class.

At nationals, gold cups, and race of champions they add:

36 and over novice
36 and over intermediate
36 and over expert

at my home track ther is usally a 31-35 cruiser class and a 41 and over class, almost every time. it's pretty cool, im glad i got back into racing again and got off the couch!!!
