Pegs are made to do one thing: slide. Most pegs slide pretty well on metal, but how they slide on less friendly surfaces like concrete of varying qualities is what seperates a decent peg from a great peg. Tha Animal Lite pegs absolutely fly on concrete. I've hit my home ledges, which are smooth , painted concrete and it feels like the ledges are waxed. If my weight is on the right place on the bike, these pegs won't stick on the concrete. Another set of ledges I like to ride are busted up cement, full of dings and nicks from BMX'ers and skaters tearing the place apart. Previously, I have only stalled these ledges because pegs just lock up as soon as you get up there. The Animal Lite pegs slide. I'm not saying it's impossible to grind these ledges with another set of pegs, but I noticed an immediate difference after using the A pegs. The coating is smooth - it just glides over any surface you might find on the streets. Even on wood, I found a decent slide possible. The black coating slides on everything, but also seems to last forever. These pegs are indestructible. After a few hundred grinds, they're still nearly perfect, and the ends are still keeping there shape. I can't picture myself wearing a hole in these puppies anytime soon. The Lite's are a little shorter than the original Animal pegs, which I also like, because there is no point in having extremely long pegs. If you happen to run a 3/8's axel up front, you may have to grind away a tiny bit of the peg in order to have them sit flush with the fork dropouts. I'm running 3/8 on a Fit Series 1 fork, and I needed about 4 mm of extra space for a clean fit. These aren't the lightest pegs out there (22 oz.s a pair) or the cheapest, but they work. This is a product no street rider should be without - it works perfectly and lasts forever. Animal is a real rider owned company - I see these guys everywhere that BMX is going down, so I like gicing them my money. 9./10 -EmilyD

Assuming I can get hold of them, I'll get them. I need some new pegs.

Yeah, I'm like a better looking, non Jesus Freak version of Corey Martinez who can't do a 720 out of a wall ride. Maybe I should start praying...

Not quite sure how to take that. I'm only creepy to Michael Jackson.

Sidenote- Ice, If those pedals are still available in a few weeks I'm all over them. I decided to totally shred the ones I have now and get some forks, my dropout's going south.

i didnt mean you were creepy....it was just kinda weird that i posted the same general comment as you to what emily said.

I'll have those pedals for at least a few more weeks. They are just sitting on a cruiser bike that i have hanging in the garage and Its not even rideable. If i look around i may have some extra pins for them too.
Like i said before they are basically brand new w/ sealed bearings. I also have some like new black cromo DK dirt/street forks that came off a 2004 DK 4 Pack. I would give a package deal of $80 shipped for both parts.

I had a Godspeed sticker on mine, all Nascar style out of a gumball machine. After I broke my wrist in three places, off it came. Being a heretic sucks.
