what do you think is the best racing hub. i have ridden on 2 of my friends race bikes. one has chris kings which are amazing and the other has answers which i also though were smooth. if i raced id probably use answers due to the crazy price of the kings. what do u think is the best hub for racing

keep it real

get a bombshell revolution cassette wheel set, or hub set if you want. but there rims are awsome and strong, and there hubs are hella smooth.

If your just racing and have a lot of cash, go for the kings. If your on a budget or want to ride other stuff as well go with the oddyssey race. The king's enguagement is so fast that you'll have problems doing fakie stuff.

how many of you have even used king? I ran king for a year, only on the track, and broke 4 cogs, i kept breaking them until they sent me a solid one without the stamped out part. Which you cant get unless you ask for them- and wait for them to machine it. Hassle.

These are the ones I like and here are da prices

FMF Powermoto $79.99

Crupi low f/f $148.99

Profile mini cassette $229.99

Odyssey race cassette $84.99

but i really like the crupi ones because i had them for the last 3 years

i run the very old style of crupi low flange F/F,
so i can change my freewheels once or twice a year.
the noise from cassette's bug me.
the quicker engagement with cassette hubs doesn't really do ya much good anyhow.
i do like the less weight with cassette compared to freewheel, but i didn't even go as far as ti axles yet.

I have seen just about every kind of hub you can think of, but once I saw the Stealth I knew there was only one hub to have.

Instant engagement like no other precision bearings and not as pricy as the Chris King or Crupi.
There is no better.
