I never noticed how MASSIVE my race bars are until I cut my street bars. Then going to my race bike, and I was like, Why do I have like 2 ft extra bar?
keep it real

Well almost all racers dont cut down thier bars and keep them nice and long because it helps with the balance with manuals, gate starts and so you elbow people off around corners.

Yeah it helps alot with keeping your balance at the start gate. Also easier to control your bike.
yes, wide bars do help with racing. alot at that.

Maybe balance in the gate, but mostly your leverage out of the gate. Anyways, there HUGE so, I'm going to cut them a little.

how about aluminum race bars?
i used to race powerlite back in the day
man those bars were light!
i like the fmf bars but i dont seem
to have that much choice in
aluminum these days. IS there a mail order
company that is racer friendly they all
seem to geared toward freestyle.
