im thinking about going brakeless. my front brake has been giving me alot of trouble, and i hardly use it anyways. i only use it when i get out of things, and for almost all scuffing. i never use my back brake. if i have the tricks dialed WITH brakes now, it shouldnt be hard to re-learn w/o brakes, right? and how much weight do you think ill lose by taking off front and back brakes? hombres w/tech 77

im thinkin of goin brakeless to, like u i dont use brakes much, it isnt too hard to learn tricks without brakes but perhaps u should try not using them at all while ridin to see how it feels for 2 weeks then if your totally satisfied u can go brakeless then take them off

jimbo has a point, but flatland bikes arent really for going long distances by roads and bombing it down a hill, and im pretty sure its possible to pogo without brakes...

have you rode bakeless yet. it takes a while to get used- as a matter of fact- i never got used to it. i just switched back. i never realized how much i used it untill i took them off

yeh i tried a bit, i wanna go brakeless to make my ridin smoother so the brakes dont tempt me, like when i try for an elephant glide the temptation of stickin on a brake to let the back end swing to my side is too much so before i learn them i wanna take the brakes off, same with wheelchairs, funkychickens and loads others

I can do pogos without brakes or jamming my feet in the tires. Pogos are easier for me without brakes. Anyway I agree with what Scorchy said about giving it 2 weeks :)

Pedals. Its easy if you can find your balance point in your manual (I think thats your problem since you mostly flatland right?) I also just kept praticing it since thats the most I can do in my garage because of limit of space, I would use my brakes but they need to be dialed and I messed them up when I tried. Just keep praticing!
