Sound Setup

What kinda sound setup have people got? hifi, separates? just wondering...

I have a JVC JA-S44 amplifier connected to my pc for playing mp3s and some seriously loud 45w Mission 760 front speakers and some 20w rear panasonics.

some 500 watt kenwood speakers .. a 5 set with central woofer.. my amp is however lacking. so i havent been able to use them for what they are worth

Urg in my room i got a Pioneer seperates system, pioneer sa-1020 1000watt amp,pioneer tx-520l tuner, pioneer pd-z81m lr 6 cd changer, some dt-510 audio digital timer, pioneer px-520sl mini disc player, 2 bigg 400watt kef's and 2 aiwa subs each 300 watt. in room entertainment, i got 2 tele's (1 big 1 small), free view, vcr, dvd player, sky digital, ps2 and a pc. Im pretty kitted out Oh and my bmx.

I got a simple 500watt altec lansing subwooder with four 50 watt speakers. I got a dvd player in my computer so I use it for that and music and for annoying the neighbors. haha

smickus I bet once he turns all that on the electric bill is like VROOOOM! haha

yeah he records music... and he can burn cd's with his professional cd thing...
and louis - it doesn't emit much heat so the electric bill is just fine, thankyou.

$90 Sony SLV-N750 silver VCR.
$800 Infinity Alpha 50 main speakers.
$250 Infinity Alpha 37c center channel speaker.
$500 Infinity 25es surround speakers w/monopole, bipole or dipole.
$800 Paradigm PW-2200 12" subwoofer w/1,500 watt peak amplifier.
$500 Monster Power HTS 3600 home theater power center.
$350 (or more) in the best cables, speaker wire, and banana plugs.

Lets just say when i want to, my system can shake a 3 story house and the nieghbors house at the same time. :wink:

Both are pretty old, but the speakers are really well made and can shake the floor at top volume
