I've tried thes a couple times, but I can't get the backend up more than a
few inches let alone hold it.I'm a street rider with no front brakes, but I
really want to learn these because they could make for some tight combos.
Any help?
You have to push the bars with your hands, not just lean forward. You lean forward untill you are above the bars. Then you put all yout weight on the leg on the front peg and push the bars forward. Don't lean too much so you don't fall on the head. Then the seat goes to yout butt extend the rear leg back for balance.

aw i been waiting for some1 to ask so i can brag about me being able to do em,muhahaha...yeah anyways...
Learn forward alot(more then you think) then just push arms forward and lock them,if you do it correctly the seat should go right up and touch your bum,you spare leg just use to balanece..i will tak a while to learn.DONT USE BREAKS

Could you (or somebody) describe it a bit more? Please.
I got to ride a little today 'cause some of the snow melted,so anyway.....I tried a bunch of time and I leaned WAY forward, pushed down and back on my bars, and even tried pushing back on my peg (front, duh). Also I tried shooting my weight forward,it helped a little, but I still can't keep it a for even second.... :? :(

u wont learn it in just a day...its a really hard trick...epect to spend some months on it,some people cant even do it after a year of practice
Look, it toke me 2 days to learn how to get the rear end off the ground but even after 2 months of doing it i can't do more then about 5 meters... It takes time.

flippin over bars always helps, bailing is one step closer to good balance and one step away from fear :)

dont look down (your front tire) and keep your arms staight, strong, i dont know how to translate but the important thing is "DONT LOOK DOWN" keep your eyes between your front view and down (men, its really hard to me to write in english,i hope you understandme!) and put your leg in the peg straight too and your other leg moving front and back gentle in the sproket area,it take a lot of time and practice to learn, SEE YA BRO!!
