what is the worst injury everyone has gotten that required them to go to the hospital, can be bike releated or not. preferbly bike. but whatever floats your boat. would be even better if you had pics :P

i got crossed rooted going over a triple on my dirt bike and i got knocked out and snaped my Renthal bars(super f*ckin strong bars)

i went over a double with a big pit of fire under neath me and i went way to fast, and cased it. my bike got stuck under a parked car and i got knocked out for 2min, i snaped my handlebars,and disclocated my thumb. ohh and i got my wallet burned, with 45 bucks in it. god damnit, i was gonna use that money for bike parts.coulda used it for new handlebars.

i went to get an xray for a past injury, and they asked me how i got the fracture in my shin. i told them, "what fracture?". turns out its from all the pedal bites.

ok then. :roll: thats kinda what happened to me. i hurt my elbow but it wasnt to bad so i didnt go the doctor or anything. about 7 months later it started sweeling up pretty bad, got an x ray and found out it was broken :/

I broke my arm. But not with bmx, it was with a simple bicycle. i was racing with my cousin, and he didn't want to loose, so smashed to my bike and a jumped off and landed with my arm. it was broken.

i was trying to grind this mini rail that was 6 inches thick at the skatepark and i fell and smashes my balls right onto the rail. had to ice that mother fu*ker all night :cry:

When i started skateboarding as a poor student on mini ramps i didn't use pads (couldn't afford them :wink: ) and i fell repeatedly on my right forearm. It started swelling and stuff. Now if i feel it and compare it with my left the bone's abit kinked! 8O
Now if i fall on it hard it swells again. It's probably broken. I should get an x-ray.
Btw i've never broken a bone in my body, but i think some things are broken, although they don't effect me.
Oh yeah i kept falling on my right hip aswell, and now if i feel it there's a little bit of bone or something the size of a marble that is visible as a bump and moves around under the skin... eeuuww

Right shin is severly fractured. Left only has a small fracture. I dislocated my right elbow. Sprained both elbows once. Snapped 2 growth plates in my left ankle. Had to get stitches 3 times. One on the top of my head 2 times in the back of my head. I still have a tored tendon and ligaments in my ankle when I snapped the 2 growth plates.

Rotator cuff is the cartiledge in your shoulder, now mine makes a clicking sound, almost like a fun instrument! 8) I'm not on Dialysis yet, maybe next year!

I lived and worked at the WTC, and breathed in all that steel/asbestos/aluminum etc, dust. Right now one is failing, the other has 85% reanl function. G-d bless America :P

that sucks. i once dislocated my knee (the kneecap managed to pop out and move to the back of my leg) and i have fractured some stuff and got concussion. oh and i chipped a bit of my hip. the bone is still floating around somewhere in there now.

i broke my arm once when trying to bunnyhop off a tiny lip over 4 car tires. i have also broken both my little fingers falling onto them, scraped up the whole of my right arm from elbow to wrist when i came off on the second of a six-pack and slid along the bombhole edge. fell about 15ft onto my back when i came off at a jump at the top of a giant bombhole. and once ****ed up my hip and tore a tendon in my right arm... not bike related though lol :) worst is probably broken arm... painwise torn tendon though

i have had like 6 concussions, stitches above my eye, stitches on the top of my head like 3 times, dislocated my thumb, sprained ankles. but the only ones that were bmx related were the stitches above my eye and the dislocated thumb

Probably when i was biking around in the rain ( dumb idea, now I know) and i slipped next thing i know i got a gash on my shin and i got 17 stitches

i hopped a grass gap once which was about a three foot drop in to a lower parking lot and at the time i wasnt very good at bunny hopping and wasnt goin very fast either and when i hopped it i clipped my back tire and it threw me forward so here i am in the air almost upside down with no helmet thinkin oh shit this is gonna hurt. and then i landed on my face on gravel and both my arms and my left shoulder. took a buncha skin off my face and my shoulder and my right arm broke my middle finger on my right hand and took alittle skin off my left arm. left with a concussion and bloody. haha i used to have a pic of it. i looked pretty bad ass with no shirt on with blood running down my whole chest and arms. passed out for a minute too.

no stitches, but there are times i prolly should have, good old super glue :D i broke my right foot, in 2 places, from doing a 360 funny, and landing on my foot, then i harilined my elbow, double peg to fakie, then my bars slipped, right to my elbow, then i fell on that elbow, and heard a pop, never got it really taken care of, i broke my pointer finger recently, and i have a lump in my wrist... and one time i was dirt jumping, clipped my front wheel on the landing, or so ive been told, flipped over the bars, and right onto my head, i was out for about 15... all i remember is going to the jump...

long time ago I was outside playing or something, and I had to take a crap, I was running to the house and jumped off a big pile of dirt, when I landed I tripped and fell and hit my face (just right of my nose) on one of those tractor spikes used to pick up round bales (we live on a farm). 3 stitches.

New years, 1:30 am, (this only happend because I was freakin tired and my heart rate was up from going up the stairs) I wen't into the bathroom to brush my teeth, had the hiccups, held my breath to get rid of them, which caused me to black out and I hit my head on what I later learned to be the bottom hinge of the door. next day, went to the walk in clinic and got 4 stitches, mom took them out yesterday.

I also almost got impaled on my handlebars once when my chain fell, bars went sideways and I fell straight into a tabletop bank, still have a cool polka-dotted scar 2-3 inches (my) left of my bellybutton

i used to run track, found out i had flat feet and ended up spraining my ankle. didnt get it checked and no theres a huge lump comming outta my left ankle 8)

Hmm, how can i explain in english.. i was in a crossroad,on my bike(GT), i was whit my foot on the curb, at the right side of the road,at the corner,and whit the other foot at the pedal, i was waiting for the red light to go, and a friend called me at the exact moment that a bus was coming, i looked back , and when i did looked , the bus did the turn too 'inside' of the corner, and his double back wheel got on the curb , and hited me hard, literaly, he smashed my foot and my ankle,allmost all my fuc.kin leg, i was using protection u know, cuz of the pedals, and long pants, thick ones lol, i think, that it did protected me a lot! well, after that the bus run away, it was at night, it was late, i couldnt move, i could'nt fell my left leg, scary...but at that time i got soo angry.. so much, i tryed to run after him,but i couldnt move at all... i was whit the foot on the pedal, the foot that he smashed, his wheel pressed my foot agaynst the pedal so hard that it literaly 'exploded' , and i think that, if the pedal was stronger, would be my foot who would explod...my forjed crank got just a little like this ' ( ' result: a broke bike,no damage to the frame!5 months of fisioterapy,i couldnt touch the ground whit my foot, but, i didnt got it broke, it 'dislocated' and got back to his place, and a fracture on the ankle, 6 months whitout ride, i sold my bike, now i buyed the Power lite ditch, im back.. .lol. i lost 3 videos that i was suposed to be in.. and my foot got a brand new collor, purple, ya since that my foot is purple at all. Bailed on a steep table and caught my elbow on my side. Broken wrist in three places.

When I was nine I got my first concussion. Someone turned a small ramp the opposite way of the trail. As I crossed the field at dusk on my Yamaha 80, I hit the ramp broad side and it launched me into a tree. Helmets rule by the way. I went home and took a shower. Every 2 minutes I yelled to my parents, "What time is it!?!?" I told them I was drunk and the neighbors' son gave me beers. My mom went over and raised holy hell.

I just got back from the ER. Six stitches in my finger from a botched dog chewy cutting. Yes, I am a dumbass. Nurse was pretty hot though. :wink:

I had a bad one today.. just an hour ago in fact.
I tailtaped a 6ft quarter and the front dropped but i tried to drop in anyway and the front tyre caught the coping, sending me sideways in to the ramp. I fell on the bike and the bars stabbed my leg, about an inch from my balls.... that was close..
Now it's all swollen up.. wonder what my girlfriend will say tonight..?

One time I was flying through a field on my dirtbike and my tires got stuck in a four-wheeler rut and I wiped out hard. I hit my head on a rock(prolly woulda f*cked me up good if I didnt have a helmet) and split my knee wide open. The funny thing was I didn't feel it. I just got up picked up my dirtbike and made sure it was okay. Then my friend started laughing and pointed at my knee. :P So we ducked taped it up and rode for the rest of the day and then I went to the hospital and got 12 stitches. Ahhhh good times. :lol:

haha yea dude i cut my finger with my a bagle knife, one of those long 12 inch serated ones. Me and a friend reached for the knife at the same time and he got the handle and i grabed the blade, and he pulled it, and well he cut 3 fingers on my hand the index, middle, and ring finger. there was cream cheese in my cut it was so raunchy. i bled all over my leg and feet, i went to the ER and got 18 stitches. There was this guy that got there the same time i did and left the same time i did. He got in the middle of a dog fight with his pit bull and another pit bull. i saw his hand, he had a puncture wound going through his palm, and he had the skin on his middle finger pulled all the way to his finger nail, NASTY SHIT!!! could see his bone.
