Indie 500??

hey guys i sore an old indie 500 BMX at this old guys house that he wanted to give to me but i noticed that it would need to be rechromed and such. I am going to pick it up tomorow and was wondering if it matters if i paint it diffrent colours or if they did it in neother colour but chrome and if its possible to get some sticker s that would have went on it
