[Review] Haro Straightshooter forks

Dont get put off by haro's bad rep, or the fact that their stuff isnt 'cool'. These forks are brilliant. Ive had these for about 3 years! The dropouts a perfectly shaped, because after a little grinding down they wont touch when you grind. They've had a lot of abuse and still dont want to give up. Im not sure of price or availibility. I got them with an old haro shredder frame for £90. The frame was crap, but these forks are still in good shape. Amazingly the dropouts havent bent at all. The only damage is a small bend inside the headtube (which you cant even see), the only difference it makes is that barspins need a bit more throwing. They have 14mm slots which isnt very popular because most people ride 10mm at the front. Overall I give these an 8/10. They are right on the edge right now, about to break. But considering Ive had them for ages its quite impressive.

i've got the same forks and the same bend you have. ( a tiny one in the steerer tube) only i got this bend i think after 4 months of riding. ir feels differant to ride even with that tiny bend, but still ridable. i'm afraid there going to fold on me.

I got that bend about 2 years ago. Theyve been fine since then. But Im pretty sure they only have a few months left.

i had these forks and they snaped with in about 3 months, what a load of shit there are. and i am a very smooth rider so its not that. save up and get a pair of pitchforks lights like i did and never look back

I think the worst fork is mine. It's full cromo but i bent it just by hiting the other bike! It wasn't very big hit. I didn't even fall of my bike, but my fork was bent. mongoose forks s*cks majors ass
