what a good 4x4 truck

im looking into buying a 4x4 but not sure what to get either a toyota or a ford or chevy

What type of wheeling are you looking at doing??? If is for trails I would go with a Toy, if you wanna drive though mud go with chevy.. Very general statement I know. Give us some specifics and I will give you some as well :)

Light crawling: Any Tacoma or Toyota Pickup with 4wd, and IFS will do fine. Just 3" lift, sit it on 33's and your set.

Hardcore crawling: 97 Tacoma Ext cab 4x4, and I would do SAS, sit it on 35's...lockers, bumper, winch, etc.


Mudding: Some chevy with like a 350 and 4wd will work.

toyotas suck large dick and arent good for wheeling at all. are u kidding me they arent even good to drive to work and back!!! they f in suck gonads

Yota's dominate the scene, and they ALWAYS will. There reliable, strong (22re), easy to get parts, easy to work on, and lastly: they actually look decent.
