[Review] Tektro FX-20 Brakes (Front)

Alright before I got these brakes, I still had my stock back brakes on. I needed new brakes badly. So my choices were to either, save 15 dollars for evolvers, or get these for 15 dollars at my local bike shop. Since I was in need of brakes so badly, I went with these. I was VERY unexperienced in dialing brakes so I wasnt sure how hard or easy this could be. I slapped em on my bike and started playing around with them. Most brakes have barrel adjusters where you adjust the tension on the spring but these have a linear spring that goes from the barrel to the brake pad which makes it ALOT more easier to dial brakes. I replaced the pads on these with some 2by4s since i got triple wall rims. Overall, these brakes were the shizznit and I recommend these to anyone who is: in need of brakes fast with little money, suck at dialing brakes, or just want some good brakes.
I dont think i'll be getting new brakes anytime soon with these still on

My friend's bike came with these brakes and I've seen worse, but I have also seen much, much better. I guess if you're really pressed for money these will be okay, but if you're loaded, go with Evolvers.
