TV/Video Game Help

Last night I came home, and sitting in my living room was a giant tv and Playstation 2 that my lady suprised me with. I've never had a tv before, never mind video games. So here's my question(s). One how can they not give you a game with the Playstation? That seems unfair? Which games should I buy (I honestly have no idea), I definetly want some kind of car racing game. I noticed that the Playstation has an ethernet port, what is this for? Can I connect the PS to my computer and bootleg video games? Is the PS2 a good video game system? I just have no idea about any of this.

ps2 is an awesome video gaming thingy.. if you want a racing game i would DEFINETLY go with Need For Speed: Underground 2. its like a underground sorta racing theme. like teens and street racing. u can also soup up ur car!!!

oh yeah, nice surprise! i think the ethernet is for internet gaming on it (not sure cause ive never tried it before) Anyway i would recommend burnout 3 and downhill domination is a great downhill mtb game which i love.

the ethernet port is so you can hook your modem up to your ps2 and play online. i think theres some kind of subscription fee though

get bmx xxx. the nude girls are well nude girls. if you like nude girls and bmx you will probably like this game. its not the best game but fun non the less

Yeah definetly Grand theft auto: san andreas and need for speed underground: 2. I never played 2 yet, but it must be good because I have the first one :)

Hey, my girlfriend likes naked girls, she won't mind. I just went out and bought Dave Mirra2 BMX and GTA: Vice City. They were really cheap. San Andreas is like $70, that seems ridiculous.

If you want a realistic racer get TOCA racedriver 2, Timesplitters 2 is good for good old shooting and multiplayer and downhill domination is a good game also

The Dave Mirra games make me laugh. You can air 20 something metres and all the tricks are raelly slow motion.

I just never had an interest in it before. I really don't still, the tv is sort of a point of contention between my lady and myself, I just came home and it was there. I read constantly, like a book every 3 days. I write, play music and BMX. Plus weird little construction projects, so I've always been busy. I've seen the Simpsons, the Family Guy and Alias on DVD at my friend's house, but that's about all the tv I've seen since I moved out to my own place 10 years ago.

1) san adreas, vice city, gta3, nfsu2, nfsu, all good games.

2) the ethernet port is so when you purchase your ps2 online kit(now integrated into the slim ps2's) you can hook it up to ur modem and play games that have "network capable" or "online play" written up top, or something similar to that

The Dave Mirra game is funny, you can do all these really unrealistic trick, plus there is a computerized Lee Ramsedell! Vice City is too hard for me. I'll have to adjust to playing video games, it's a very foreign concept to me.
