I got this rim this last summer, so I have been riding on it for about 6 months. It still looks like it did day one

I should start by saying I have this on the front of my bike. I keep my front tire at about 85-90 psi. (I prefer rock hard wheels) anyhow I have case it a few times . got one pinch flat and ran strait into more than my fair share of walls. I have been dirt jumping and grinding (almost completely through the peg since I got the wheel) and its still true as the day I got it. I use mothers chrome polish and keep it clean. So the chrome is still bright and beautiful.

For those who have gone to chrome you will agree nothing stops quite like it. The hulahoops have a nice thick chrome plating that seems fairly resistant to wear. (that is if you take care of them) there are a few small chips but they would have been unavoidable with any other wheel. They are a decent weight . not so light that you cant believe they work and not nearly as heavy as the BFR sun rim I had on.

I actually bought the full wheel so I have the stock primo hub and all original spokes. I have had to tighten two of them from grinds gone wrong. After having the wheel for about 4 months I decided to take her off to see if she needed a tune. Nope really there was no reason for me to remove her. The hub was tight and the rim still true. So I cleaned her up and she is still on there now . not having given me a problem.
I will give this product a 10/10 the wheel is super strong and the chrome is quite decent.

I recommend it for anyone who needs new wheels and likes the stopping power of chrome.

edit is to make more readable

I've been running this rim on my back wheel for a while now... I messed up my single-wall rim the first time. Well...I've hit a few copings etc already (when I didn't inflate my tires enough once and bad side landing), but I didn't mess up my rim. (Just a little bump). I'm really content with the quality of this product and I will certainly go for the same if I **** up my front rim as well (which is the original single wall rim from the flybikes barcelona).

I got the black version of the rim...well the color is getting of pretty fast, (where you brake...duh?:p). But with rain, I could just rub it off with my finger! Not good, but I don't care about it. I want a bike/rim that doesn't break, instead of one that looks horny and breaks if you hit the first curb on the block.

Why would you get it in black if you are running brakes? It has no positives...

Unless you have terribly shitty brakes the black rim wouldn't matter.

Huh? Even with good brakes chrome rims surpass black rims...

Yah but they still make you stop within a foot of grabbing the lever. Black rims look better anyways, provided you have a black hub, black spokes and black nipples.

They look good until you use brakes on them and the black rubs off where your pads touch...

Yah but back brakes are useless. Why bother have em?

Yes, it was. Good call, let's get you a medal, oh wait I'm doing it again. And originally I meant it's better for brakeless riders, chrome rims look weird (at least I think they do). Black wheels look sexy and go with more colours than chrome, that is if you care what your bike looks like as well as performance.

meh i think black looks alot better but i would rather have a crome rim and just get the spokes and stuff painted black

Because chrome rims lock up way better. Crome rims help with fufanus, abubacas, endos, tiretaps, and all around better braking. Once you switch to chrome, you don't go back.

Once you switch to chrome, you don't go back.

Haha, that's a cool saying. Opposite to black right?
