About 4 months ago i completely wasted my 1pc crank so i needed a new one. I went out and bought a new Snafu 4130 3pc crank. So far i have had no problems with it and it feels very nice. It spins very freely and smooth, is very strong (can easily put up to 5ft drops onto flat concrete), looks nice and was easy to install.
I would reccommend this crank to anyone who has the money coz its up there in the top priced cranks sadly. All up i give it a 9/10 loosing 1 point to not being the most beautiful crank i have ever seen but it sure performs sweet!
(UPDATE)
Hmm its been bout a year and a half ago scince I got them so may as well update. Firstly, i havnt riden them for a few months now I got a Disrupter PL1 which came with powerbites. But my friends rides them now haha, everyday. I have a story that demonstrates the exceptional quality of these cranks so read on.. I was at the skatepark for a while and I accidentally rode into a rail. The snafu pedal on the left got killed, it snapped the pins and majorly bent the spindle, cracking it. Lets demonstrate the strength of the spindle. I put it in a 1.5 tonne press and it couldnt bend it back straight at all. I ran it over with my car and it still stayed bent as hell. So considering the force needed to bend this that the cranks were also subject to, they stayed perfectly fine. No creaking, poppin, or bending to the cranks. Thats part 1 of the story. Now afterwards I realised i needed a new pedal, but I diddnt wanna buy one coz i was saving for my new bike. So i took a high tensile bolt and put it through the pedal hole. A few spacers and nuts later I had a homemade pedal, or bar whateva ya wanna call it. I rode with this in there for quite a while and then for bout a month so did my friend. When I finally had some new pedals for it I took out the bolt from the pedal hole. The thread from the crank had been pressed deep into this high tensile bolt, and the new pedals went straight in, smoothly onto the thread which was undamaged. I think this very well displays the exceptional quality of the cranks even after a decent period of time, even in odd circumstances.
